Farm House Valley was built on a 500 acre plantation with a main central building with a restaurant and leisure area. Every afternoon a fire is lit and drinks and snacks are available for guests whilst they share their experiences of the day and compare the different animals they have seen in the park.
The whole hotel has been conceived to offer the maximum comfort and a touch of luxury in an impressive scene. The ideal place to relax, have a swim in the pool, go jogging or let yourself be tampered after a day of adventures.
The large vegetable garden and lower garden are perfect for a stroll. An ideal place to take photos. Guests can enjoy excellent home made cuisine using the organic dairy products and fresh vegetables produced by the farm all year round. Depending on the weather dinner can also be served on the terrace deck.
Chalet type bedrooms situated at ground level with a private terrace or balcony. Overlooking the gardens and/or the coffee plantation. Ample and comfortable. Rooms with a double bed or two single beds. The rooms have bathroom with a shower. The family room consist in two rooms interconnected.
We spent a few days with my family in this cozy lodge, and from there we made several safaris to the crater park, etc… We even visited the town of Karatu and several African tribes on this area. The hotel staff was very attentive too.
After a day on a game drive, pamper yourself with a relaxing and rejuvenating massage. There is a choice of a 1 hour 30 minutes body massage, a head massage, a manicure or pedicure.

In Tanzania live a great diversity of tribes and ethnic groups of great interest. Tribes such as Hadzabe, Datoga, Masai, Wairak and other tribes can be visited from Tanganyika properties.
The activity consists of visiting the local ethnic group to learn about their traditions and way of living.

Farm House Valley is a small and exclusive hotel overlooking the Oldeani volcano. It’s located on a 500 acre coffee plantation and is only 5 kilometres from the Lolduare entrance.
Air companies fly on schedule and charter basis to and from Arusha to the Manyara Airstrip on daily basis. Flights take aproximately 25 minutes. Its possible to connect with flights to and from Serengeti and Zanzibar.

Closest gate to Ngorongoro Conservation Area: Lolduare – 6 km
151 km, aproximately 2 hours and 30 minutes from Arusha. Take A104 up to Makuyuni and then turn right, take B144 to Ngorongoro. Its an easy two hour scenic drive on a tarmac road.
