Kati Kati is a mobile camp strategically situated in central Serengeti, ideal for exploring the extensive Serengeti plains. The camp offers comfortable accommodation together with the unique opportunity to enjoy a real safari experience on a camp. In its comfortable tents one will feel completely immersed in the surroundings and one can enjoy the rich animal life and vegetation of the area.
An original form of accommodation which resembles the old camps of the first explorers in Africa, with all the commodities of today.
Located a two hour drive along a panoramic route from the Olduvai Museum and the river Grumeti, two of the indispensable visits for all travellers to Tanzania.
The camp has been designed to cause a minimum impact on the environment. All of the infrastructure is mobile and the philosophy of the company is not to leave anything behind.

ABOUT KATI KATI TENTED CAMP
11 spacious tents with a private en-suite bathroom which includes a camp shower, wash basin and toilet. All of the tents have large beds (double or two singles). The electricity is provided by solar panels.

Two interconnected tents sharing one bathroom. With capacity for up to 4 travelers. Tent features a private verandah.

The camp has a cozy dining room tent, with interior and exterior areas. It’s possible to organize picnics. In the afternoon you can enjoy an aperitif before dinner around the campfire light.
A HOT AIR BALLOON SAFARI
In the morning enjoy an hour on safari in a hot air balloon in the clear blue African sky with the savannah, its flora and fauna at your feet. And after the flight enjoy a picnic breakfast.
GAME DRIVES IN SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
Departure early morning or afternoon. Guests can enjoy a 2 to 3 hour or an all day game drive in an open 4×4 depending on how the day is organized.

With appetizers around the camp fire.

LOCATION & SURROUNDINGS
A mobile camp located in central Serengeti and strategically situated to cover the extensive Serengeti plains. Serengeti Kati Kati is a two hour drive along a panoramic route from the Olduvai Museum and the river Grumeti.
North charters companies flies to and from Arusha to different airstrips in Serengeti on a daily basis, approximately 50 min flight. Also contects with flights to and from Zanzibar and other national parks. Nearest airstrip: Seronera Airstrip 40 minutes away.
Depending on the time of the allocation of the camp it takes approximately 5-10 hours, from Arusha.
